Prologue challenges: complete all six

A sourced two-run plan for clearing every Prologue challenge in Halloween: The Game, including the orderly-count conflict and the no-alert requirement.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Most sources recommend two separate runs: one clean no-alert run for Challenge 5, and one combat run that covers Challenges 1–4 and 6. Challenge 6 still has conflicting reports on whether a fleeing orderly counts.

Why two runs are recommended

Whisper of the House — Prologue challenges ↗ and IGN — Prologue challenges and rewards ↗ both note that Challenges 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 conflict with the pure no-alert requirement of Challenge 5. The practical approach is one dedicated clean run for Challenge 5, then a separate combat run for the rest.

Challenge 6 conflict remains

For the detailed evidence comparison on whether fleeing counts, see the dedicated Prologue Challenge 6 page. Keep a tally of eliminated versus fled versus unaccounted outcomes on every attempt.

Clean run (Challenge 5)

Finish the Prologue without alerting any Orderly. Avoid unnecessary confrontations and optional executions. If the challenge does not register after an apparently clean finish, use the tracking checklist rather than immediately changing multiple variables.

If progress does not register

Follow Challenges not counting. Record platform, build, difficulty and the exact objective text before the next attempt.

Questions before you retry

Can I finish all six Prologue challenges in one run?

Most cited sources say no, because the no-alert challenge conflicts with the combat objectives.

Do fleeing Orderlies count for Challenge 6?

Sources disagree. See the dedicated Prologue Challenge 6 page for the evidence comparison.
